Mayan shoes are made in Korea. They can custom make shoes for you. You can get them online (English), at Salsoul school in Kangnam in (English/Spanish/Portuguese), and at SalsaIn Academy in Apgujeong (English). These shoes start at around 80,000 won.
The shoes around Seoul Station are the cheapest shoes in Korea, starting at about 38,000 won a pair. They can custom make shoes for you in about a week, but they don't speak any English. The map below basically shows you go out exit 2 of Seoul Station, walk as straight as possible for 5-10 min til you get to a stoplight, turn left over the overpass, and all the stoes are in a line. You need to know which shoes are for dancing because they make different kinds of shoes.
Top Dream shoes are also available in Korea. I have seen them at Club Top. More info coming.
